An article in The Guardian highlights some of the challenges faced by households in the UK in light of the continued challenges the pandemic is bringing: “Similarly, Citizens’ Advice’s data shows that roughly 6 million adults have fallen behind on at least one household bill during the pandemic.

Our research shows that most people visiting Citizens’ Advice for debt advice are not seeking help with credit card debt or rent-to-own purchases. Instead, they are in debt to the public sector – tax credit overpayments, benefit overpayments and council tax arrears, and utility providers.”
